Vaccination Requirements:

Dogs:

All dogs must be up to date with their yearly vaccinations (DHLPP). If your vet uses 3 year vaccinations, these are also acceptable. Proof of vaccinations must be provided.

In addition to the DHLPP vaccinations, vets on the island recommend and we therefore require, all dogs to have the Bordatella/Kennel Cough vaccination. This is a yearly vaccination but is administered orally so it isn’t as stressful for your dog. Again, proof of this vaccination is required. You need to request this vaccination at the vets as part of their yearly check up  as it is not in the list of standard vaccinations the vets include it in their yearly check ups.

All dogs must also be current with their monthly Heartguard medications. If your dog is staying here when Heartguard is due, please provide it to us and we will ensure that your dog receives it on the appropriate day.

All dogs must also be current with their monthly Flea and Tick treatments whether here for boarding or doggy day care.

Cats:

Cats must be up to date with their yearly vaccinations recommended by the vets on the island. While we do not required cats to have Heartguard and they do not require the Kennel Cough vaccination, we do require that all cats be current with their monthly flea and tick treatments while boarding here.
